Fantastic Reef Resort

Europe’s first artificial surfing reef is currently under construction close to Boscombe Pier and is part of a larger redevelopment scheme designed to enhance the superb natural beaches and coastline in the Boscombe/Southbourne area.

The reef project will almost double the number of surfing days and is expected to attract a large number of surfers and visitors.

Panoramic sea views can be enjoyed from the newly designed cafes and restaurants as well as the beach itself, and the scheme involves renovation to the Pier, viewing platforms and an open air display area as well as a Mediterranean style piazza.

This exciting development is excellent news for the area and is generating a great deal of interest both locally and nationally.
