Local Historic Connection

Staff at the Southbourne office were intrigued to discover during a conversation with a local resident that her property had once been owned by a Mr Richard Godsell, House & Estate Agent.

The original documentation, written by hand in copper plate writing showed that the property was purchased in 1931 for a figure of £570 and that stamp duty was 1/6d.
